Scott Haltzman, M.D. ** is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He is a graduate of Brown University and received his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. He completed his psychiatric training and chief residency at Yale University, and then practiced psychiatry as part of the Brown University faculty for more than 20 years. Dr. Haltzman has gained international recognition for his work on infidelity and in support of marriage and committed relationships. He has appeared on the Today Show, 20/20, Nightline, Good Morning America, The Rachel Ray Show, and in TIME, Glamour, Redbook, Parent’s Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and local and national radio, TV and print.

John Van Epp, Ph.D. ** in Counseling/Psychology, is the author of How to Avoid Falling in Love with a Jerk. The combination of his twenty‐five years of clinical counseling in his private practice and teaching graduate marriage and family coursework as adjunct professor, and his extensive research in premarital, marital and family relations have paved the way for his five relationship programs: PICK (How to Avoid Falling for a Jerk) (which is for singles of all ages), Couple LINKS (which is a program for committed couples), and Our Home Runs (for entire families and designed to facilitate family bonding). Dr. Van Epp has trained and certified more than 10,000 instructors from all fifty states and ten countries. PICK, LINKS and Our Home Runs are also widely used in the military with more than 250,000 servicemen and women taking the classes in his programs since 2001. He has been happily married for thirty‐five years and is the proud father of two daughters.

Troy Kemp **, has spent his entire career nurturing, motivating, and empowering students and athletes. He is now the Executive Director of the National Center for the Development of Boys and is providing training and consulting in male development around the country and abroad. The Center connects and collaborates with renowned researchers, educators, and organizations to deliver services that change boy's lives from day one.
As a teacher, administrator, coach, and researcher, Troy has been able to study our male populations both academically and anectdotally. Devoting his life and career to male development has given him both a passion for helping our children thrive and a base of insight for challenging organizations that serve young males to become the best they can be.

Alexandra Solomon, Ph.D. ** is a licensed clinical psychologist at The Family Institute at Northwestern University and a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at Northwestern University. In addition to writing articles and chapters for leading academic journals and books in the field of marriage and family, she is the author of the book Loving Bravely: Twenty Lessons of Self-Discovery to Help You Get the Love You Want (New Harbinger, 2017). Dr. Solomon maintains a psychotherapy practice for individual adults and couples at The Family Institute at Northwestern University’s Northbrook location. In addition to teaching and training marriage and family therapy graduate students, Dr. Solomon teaches the internationally renowned undergraduate course, “Building Loving and Lasting Relationships: Marriage 101.” Dr. Solomon is a highly sought-after speaker and media commentator on relationship topics.

Richard Marks, Ph.D. ** is the Vice President for Marriage Education at Live the Life in Tallahassee, FL. He earned his PhD in Psychology and Counseling, a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and an M.A. in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor, he is also an ordained minister. Dr. Marks was a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy for over 25 years and a 12 year U.S. Navy veteran. Dr. Marks has served in various capacities from senior manager at private psychiatric hospitals, graduate school professor, pastor of the family ministries of a 28,000 member church, and most recently, a Special Assistant of Healthy Marriage and Fatherhood.

Dennis Stoica ** is nationally recognized as an innovator and strategic leader in the Relationship and Marriage Education field. Dennis did his undergraduate work at Loyola Marymount University – where he earned separate degrees in Psychology (BS), Economics (BA) and Business (BBA). He received his MBA from Harvard Business School in1985. In 2005, Dennis co-founded Healthy Relationships California, which in its first 10 years provided Marriage and Relationship Education programming to over 200,000 people. In 2010, Dennis co-founded the National Association for Relationship and Marriage Education (NARME). In 2017 Dennis received NARME’s Joseph L. Hernandez Impact Award to honor and recognize his passion, leadership, and life-long commitment to foster education for healthy marriages, responsible fathers, and strong families.
In 2015, Dennis joined the Board of Directors of Live the Life became its Board Chair in February of 2016. In 2016, when he stepped into the role of Project Director of Live the Life’s Culture of Freedom Initiative (COFI) project in Jacksonville, which is part of the largest ever privately funded marriage-strengthening initiative.
Dennis married his wife Sandy in in 1996.

Dr. Warren Farrell ** trains couples and psychologists worldwide in the “art and discipline of love.” He was a pioneer in both the women’s movement and the modern men’s movement. He is the co-author, with John Gray, of The Boy Crisis (2018) and the author of two international bestsellers, Why Men Are the Way They Are and Women Can’t Hear What Men Don’t Say. His books are published in more than 50 countries and in 18 languages. Dr. Farrell has been chosen by the Financial Times as one of the world’s top 100 thought leaders. He has appeared on more than 1,000 TV and radio shows, including interviews with Oprah, Larry King, Katie Couric, Charlie Rose, Peter Jennings, and Barbara Walters. Dr. Farrell serves as chair of the Coalition to Create a White House Council on Boys and Men. He has two daughters and lives with his wife in Mill Valley, California.

Melanie Hempe, RN ** is the Founder and President of Families Managing Media (FMM). With a nursing degree from Emory University, Melanie has spent over six years working with leading researchers and technology experts on the impact of video games, social media and smartphone media on children and families. Her passion for educating families about the dangers of screen addiction and providing practical solutions has made her a sought after expert and speaker throughout the United States. Melanie’s commitment to reconnect families through meaningful interactions and reestablishing balanced use of technology in the home and school is at the heart of Families Managing Media. Melanie knows first-hand the impact of screen addiction on a family and this has led to the development of cutting edge programs from Families Managing Media.

Syble Solomon ** is a popular speaker on the psychology of money, the founder and President of LIfeWise Strategies and a Board Certified Coach. She has presented at many couples events and conferences plus the NFL Players Association, Women’s International Networking Conference, U.S. Air Force, Army and Marines Corps, UMD School of Social Work, university faculty and staff, financial advisors, non-profit leadership and staff, and clergy. She created Money Habitudes® to address two things. First, since money is the most taboo topic of our times. she wanted to make it easy and fun to talk about. Then, she wanted to help people discover their money personality and understand how it affects their life, relationships, career and finances. Since Money Habitudes was introduced, versions have been developed for adults (English and Spanish), teens and young adults. She collaborated with the Dibble Institute to develop the teen curriculum How to be Rich in Live and Love and a curriculum for at-risk youth that also focuses on finances and relationships. She is the co-author of Bringing Money into the Conversation: a quick start for therapists. The Washington Post chose Money Habitudes as a featured selection. Other honors include the Smart Marriages Impact Award and Educator of the Year (Association of Financial Counseling and Planning Education). She has been quoted in more than 100 publications on the topic of couples and family relationships related to finance as well as financial topics in the NYT, WSJ, Huffington Post, Redbook, Psychology Today, MSN Money, USA Today and Forbes.
Her work combines her academic background in economics and psychology (Douglass College, Rutgers University) and education (George Washington University and University of Pittsburgh), her experience working with families who have young children with special needs and her work as an executive coach associated with the Center for Creative Leadership. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Southern Connecticut State University, University of Nevada, Reno and University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has been married for 44 years and looks forward to many more years of making and sharing memories.
