Internship Opportunities
University Internships are available with NARME and are open to undergraduate/graduate students from any university and all areas of study. There are funds to provide a stipend for individuals successfully completing an internship with NARME ($1000 per semester). All internships will be supervised by Paul Schvaneveldt, Ph.D. (Presidential Professor of Family Science, Weber State University). You may earn credit from your university (you must follow the guidelines of your current university and register for university credit from your current university). The internship can be completed 100% remotely and can be completed during any semester (fall, spring, or summer). Internship activities include, but are not limited to:
Writing articles, fact sheets, and position papers on a variety of topics related to HMRF topics
Assisting with Continuing Education outreach
Marketing and networking activities with NARME
Interaction with leaders in federal, state, and private organizations that provide healthy marriage and responsible fatherhood programming
Assistance with coordinating the NARME Summit
Assistance with coordinating NARME Webinars
Assistance with healthy relationship education activities
Other activities to be determined by mutual agreement
The stipend will be issued at the end of the internship. In addition to the stipend, interns will receive a complimentary registration to the NARME Summit, the VIP luncheon, and the Networking Event. You will also participate in NARME Board meetings, interact with board members and leadership, and many professionals engaged in relationship education activities.
