Internship and Volunteer Opportunities with NARME

Volunteer Opportunities

NARME welcomes volunteers to serve at the Annual Summit.  Volunteers are expected to serve throughout the entire conference and service activities will include assisting at the registration desk during scheduled times, hosting workshops sessions, and other assistance at the summit.  Volunteers may attend the plenary sessions and breakout sessions (and provide assistance while in the breakout sessions).  Volunteers will receive a complimentary registration to the summit. Apply here

Internship Opportunities

University Internships are available with NARME and are open to undergraduate/graduate students from any university and all areas of study.  There are funds to provide a stipend for individuals successfully completing an internship with NARME ($1000 per semester).  All internships will be supervised by Paul Schvaneveldt, Ph.D. (Presidential Professor of Family Science, Weber State University).  You may earn credit from your university (you must follow the guidelines of your current university and register for university credit from your current university).  The internship can be completed 100% remotely and can be completed during any semester (fall, spring, or summer).  Internship activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Writing articles, fact sheets, and position papers on a variety of topics related to HMRF topics

  • Assisting with Continuing Education outreach

  • Marketing and networking activities with NARME

  • Interaction with leaders in federal, state, and private organizations that provide healthy marriage and responsible fatherhood programming 

  • Assistance with coordinating the NARME Summit 

  • Assistance with coordinating NARME Webinars

  • Assistance with healthy relationship education activities

  • Other activities to be determined by mutual agreement

The stipend will be issued at the end of the internship.  In addition to the stipend, interns will receive a complimentary registration to the NARME Summit, the VIP luncheon, and the Networking Event.  You will also participate in NARME Board meetings, interact with board members and leadership, and many professionals engaged in relationship education activities.

2.      An unofficial copy of your university transcript(s)
