Magnify Money with Nick Clements
Nick Clements is a personal finance expert and the co-founder of MagnifyMoney.com, a website that makes it easy for people to compare financial products, ditch expensive banking relationships and save money. Nick believes that banking has become too complicated and expensive, and he wants to make it simpler and cheaper. Before MagnifyMoney, Nick spent nearly 15 years in banking. Most recently he ran the largest consumer credit card business in the UK (Barclaycard). He also spent 6 years in Risk Management with Citibank, working in New York, London and Moscow. A graduate of Stanford University, Nick now lives in New York with his wife and two rescue dogs. He is also a regular contributor to DailyFinance (of AOL) and Next Avenue (of PBS).
MagnifyMoney is a free price comparison tool that helps consumers find the cheapest bank accounts, loans, credit cards and secured cards. It also helps consumers find the savings accounts and CDs with the best interest rates. MagnifyMoney has reviewed thousands of products, and recommends the products that provide the most value to the consumer. In addition, MagnifyMoney has a team of writers creating content daily that helps people learn about improving their credit, finding the best deals and avoiding the worst rip-offs. MagnifyMoney is committed to improving financial literacy, so that more people feel confident and have the knowledge required to take control of their financial lives. ), helping people understand why they make bad financial decisions. MagnifyMoney has partnered with Brooklyn College to develop a financial literacy course for all in-coming freshman.
